They let the alcohol flow much more freely than Protestants do.

I'm just sayin.

I went to one about ten years ago. They seem to have much more fun in general than protestants.

Fixed, to make it actually relevant to the subject.

I was a groomsman in one 13 years ago in Denver. Open bar Thursday to Saturday night including a banquet room open all hours with alcohol and food. Every meal was taken care of, until Sunday afternoon. This included the rehearsal dinner at The Brown Palace Hotel for 300 or so and a Thursday night dinner at a massive house in Cherry Creek. It was a wild time....

A Bennett family member was the bride.

The last Catholic wedding I went to was at 10:00am followed by a champagne brunch.

Woo-freakin'-hoo

My dad is Jewish and growing up as a child, I had only been to Jewish wedding.

The first time I went to a gentile wedding ( ) and the service lasted like 15 mins and then we had punch and mints along side the cake, I kept waiting for the real wedding and reception to start...and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting.

My Na-Na brought meatballs with her from Chicago for my wedding and some matza balls for the rehersal dinner and instructed my caterer to work them in.

I've got to tell you: I think we do life cycle events better than anyone else.

Catholics are second, due mainly to the extended length of services and the unnecessary wear on trousers and knees.
