a supposed Texas A&M DB! I was playing NCAA Football 07 on xboxlive against a guy who claimed to be Jordan Peterson from Texas A&M. Now before I get started, I just want to say that I have no clue if he was telling the truth or not but he sure seemed to know about a lot of things that went on. I dont have any clue to why he would have told me these things but here are a few things that he told me while we played.

He told me that a lot of players hated Franchione and he wished that he would have got fired. He then said that after their game against OU, Jorvorskie threw a chair at Franchione in the locker room. He then said how glad he was that the press did not find out about that. Sounds kind of sketchy but he did say it.

We talked about getting in shape in the summer and he talked about how great the supplements were that they got. He then went on and said that he didnt know what he was taking but it sure worked. He told me that they have it shipped in and then give it to the players in a baggie with no label. I dont know much about all of this but it is what he said. That may be a normal thing.

We later talked about how hard it was to play a sport and make money at the same time and he told me that the players got an allowance. He told me that they all received a card and they used it to by food and whatever else. I also dont know if this is a normal thing.

Remember, this was coming from a guy that claimed to be Jordan Peterson from Texas A&M. He could of just been some loser pretending to be him but I still thought it was interesting enough to post. Take it how you want. Personally, I find it hard to believe that it was him but he sounded very convincing and he knew a lot. I will say this again, this was just something I thought would be interesting enough to post. There is no real way to tell if he was being honest.

I recall a few years ago there was a potential recruit who's older brother played at aTm and when trying to decide on whether to go there or not his brother said something to the effect of "If you need money or whatever they will take care of you"

It was a big deal at the time but I have not heard a thing about it since...Anyone else remember that?

While I'm sure your intentions were just what you said, to relay an interesting story, posting unsubstantiated allegations that may involve NCAA violations is never, IMO, a good thing. Smack and trash talk is one thing, and is a fun part of college football, but we have enough unsubstantiated accusations thrown at us on a constant basis to make up for the entire conference as far as I'm concerned.

Just my opinion, but I greatly dislike your post.

Several years back I used to talk to Chris Brown online(former colorado running back) or atleast he said he was. It is interesting to me that these people reveal themselves to random people then talk about their program. Who knows if it is really him, but like AG said, this guy knew everything about colorado and chris brown. I also found it wierd that he would go to such a level to defend that it was him. SO who knows really, but it is still interesting to get some info if it is true.

Well, lets just be honest and say that this kind of stuff probably happens at every program. There is so much crap that goes on that is kept under the table. Some of it is never seen or talked about and sometimes the people get lazy and they get caught.

Regarding the player saying that supposedly the team hates Coach Fran, that might be the case. But when he was at Pitt State, the players loved playing for him. He has turned programs around and/or been successful at all his stops, eventually. Remember the first game we played vs. Alabama in Norman? The onside kicks and trick plays? That was vintage Franchione as I remembered him from Pitt State. Always pulling out the last pages of the playbook to get an advantage. No comment on the payments and supplements. If they're cheating they'll get caught maybe.
