voila!!!!! still have to get used to this paint color in the kitchen - the pictures really dont do the color much justice - much nicer in person

we had all the old stained trim that matched the old cabinets, painted white, along with the door to the pantry and the laundry room

Looks good. As that show on HGTV says, don't be afraid of color. I should post some pics of our house, not a white room in the joint. We even painted the ceilings.

funny you mention the color, mrs jk has never had anything but white walls, so she's having to get used to it

i think once she gets valences (sp?) and blinds up in the windows and some stuff on the walls, she'll be on board with it

I couldn't live in a house with white walls now. Seriously, going to other people's homes that haven't painted at all creeps me out. There is no easier and cheaper way to personalize and comfortize (yeah, that's not a word) than to throw a couple gallons of paint on the walls.

we took the wallpaper down, put a primer coat up before 2 coats of the color - and i dont know what you call the texture, but there is one
