he didn't get here 'til about 7:00 or 7:30, and he's still working. Had to run all new lines thru the attic and put in new drops, apparently they use a different size cable and cox. he seems to be doing a good jorb, but I'm TIRED!


(I'm sure he just saw the secks chair and doesn't wanna leave......:hot: )

he even asked for a broom and dustpan so he could clean up after himself. thought that was pretty nice. the cox guy left a MESS when he was here.

he's packing up his stuff, apparently something on the dish itself is bad and he has to come back tomorrow. yippie.

I hope you read the fine print on your contract, so when you don't get some OU game, you'll have a plan B, because if you cancel them, there may be a little 300.00 to 400.00 surprise in your credit card bill.

he came back at 3:30 this afternoon and is still here, it's now 6:00. I may never have TV again.

This is ridiculous. I could've driven up there and had you watching TV by now. I've always installed all my own Dish stuff.

oh, and some channels take longer to authorize, but most likely, in all honesty, they just didn't put the programming in. Most of the time a new customer missing channels was just that their retailer had sold them one package, but submitted an order for just the basics...

I had always installed my DirecTV until the latest upgrade to the new 5-LNB dish and HD-DVR. He was here about 2 hours total.
