Dang.

My first Sooner board was on Compuserve.

Crud, I should have added that - "ever had a compuserve account"

I can remember what using a computer meant, before BBS's were the rage.

So, while we're on the subject, how many of you were students at OU in the fall of 1980? Do you remember the Bell terminal lab near the stadium? The one that you could go to in the evenings and play the "Adventure" game on? It's funny what memories can pop up in one's mind from old school days.

I voted for all of them...

At one time, I thought a 10 meg HD was the best thing ever!

I was a student somewhere in 1980. D*mn, I didn't realize how
young and ignorant I was back then. Now, I'm old and ignorant.
Good times back in the day though...

At least you're not bugged by flood control. :D

U.S. Robotics 9600 baud modem was my first one I believe.

heh, i think 14.4 was my slowest. I remember having to configure it differently to work with compuserve and with AOL  of course, that was when you paid by the hour for your AOL access and I ended up with a couple big bills...
