What exactly is the supposed coincidence?

RUSH LIMBAUGH is my clone!
5/1/2007, 02:23 PM
Do you suppose she thinks that some people might vote for her because of some possible association with her "husband", and dropping the name Rodham might focus on the fact she's "married" to the esteemed former POTUS??

yermom
5/1/2007, 02:24 PM
yeah, because no one knows who she is

Mjcpr
5/1/2007, 02:24 PM
Do you really think that's been a secret before now?

What exactly is the supposed coincidence?
The coincidence is that it was noted in a news article at EXACTLY the same time that RLIMC wanted to start a politics thread.

Do you really think that's been a secret before now?I believe a lot of repubs don't realize why she got elected Senator, and why she now is a leading presidential candidate for the democrats.

yermom
5/1/2007, 02:29 PM
how is that any different than getting elected because of who your daddy is?

Can this assumption be any sillier? Answer: no.

I believe a lot of repubs don't realize why she got elected Senator, and why she now is a leading presidential candidate for the democrats.
So you believe a lot of Republicans live under rocks, or as I like to call it "living in Utah"?

Yeah, because drunk driver and alleged coke fiend George W. Schmoe waltzes right into the Oval Office with almost no experience and a history of failure...:D

So you're saying a lot of repubs are retarded then? They are in a STATE OF DENIAL about how much the democrats love Bill Clinton. Many R's think that some democrats will decide they don't like Hillary, and will vote for or against her based upon how they evaluate HER as a candidate.

Let's see:

Hyphenated names tend to not be as euphonious as single names.

There's a bunch of people in this country that have a gut reaction against hyphenated names.

Sound like valid reasons for someone in a glorified popularity contest to change her name.

yeah, it can't hurt to have your brother be the governor in the state with the controversial, election swinging results

because she knew Mike Rich wanted to use "euphonious" in a SO thread?

Haha. Good one. Start a new thread about that one.
Now that I have more insight into your thread-starting philosopy, I understand why have have so many POS threads like this one cluttering up the SO every day.

You know, you don't have to start a new thread memorializing EACH AND EVERY ONE of your brain farts.

who cares what that wainch does...Makes little difference, as long as she's still tight with Mr. Clinton, and remains married to him.

at minimum, the criticism that should be made is less the partisan caterwaul about Hillary's opportunism but the general one: the shallow, commercialized conventions of our most important electoral process and the gullibility of the American people.
