View Full Version : So no one's posted about all the Illegal Immigrant Rallys across the country...

Allow me to ask the obvious questions, since there seem to be numerous protests going on across the country today.

Why isn't the INS or Border Patrol going through this crowd checking everyone's papers?

And after they were done checking papers, why didn't the INS or the Border Patrol contract Greyhound to bus those illegal MoFo's back across the border WHERE THEY BELONG?

"No Illegals = No Burritos (you had better think twice America)"

Are they anything like a monster truck rally? Do they take turns rolling over vehicles and smashing them to bits? If so, I put my money on this kid...

Both! Our weak-kneed prez and vote-craving pols (see: Libs) will do nothing to effectively stem the flow or rid us of the crime and welfare-mooching these rabble bring with them.
They live for the moment (See: 2008 elections.), without care that our children and grandchildren will pay a terrible price for their cowardice and treachery.

We have a lot of immigrants who go to our church, almost all of whom I know personally. They don't seem to have any problem becoming citizens, so is there something I'm not understanding that makes it hard for others to become citizens?

The problem they have is waiting in line like all of the other LEGAL immigrants do to come to this country. I'm suppose to feel sorry for Paco because he came into the country illegally, had a kid here, got caught and deported, and now his kid has to go to mexico, but it was ok for me to separated from my wife for 15 MONTHS while the CIS processed her paperwork to come her legally?

Why is the automatic response to concern with illegal immigration the consequences of ending ALL immigration?

You need to keep some space in front of you so you don't injure somebody with the frequent knee-jerks, bri. ;)

I'm still not convinced that it's illegal for a Mexican citizen to be in America. I am convinced it's illegal for them to be employed while over here visiting. Does anyone know how long someone can stay in America before they have to back to their own country? Does it differ from home country to home country?

What ever made you think they would? Heck, the cops here in OKC won't arrest illegals during traffic stops 'cause INS won't show up to the jail WHEN THEY ALREADY GOT CAUGHT!

Good friend of mine got in a nasty car wreck (rear-ended, the other car was going about 50). The address of the driver given to the cop? 1234 1st St., Dallas, TX. (No zip code). No insurance, no drivers license. Another car showed up, picked up everyone that had been in the truck, and they left. Cop did nothing. Said he could arrest them, but they'd just be back out in 24 hours when they had to release them.

My friend = slightly angry, especially since this was THE SECOND TIME IT HAD HAPPENED. In fact, he had just picked up his car from the shop after the first wreck.

Which reminds me...I should never, ever get in a car with that guy. :D

A work visa has limitations, but can easily be extended if the job meets the requirements - limited people with the knowlwedge and abilities to do the job.

Has anyone commented on the longterm resident aliens fighting for voting rights? I thought that was for citizens.

Well, that's the point you see. I'm drawing a corollary between poor migrant workers in the US with their proletariat and peasant class brethren abroad that is the backbone of Marxist/Leninism.

When they get amnesty and the vote, most red states will become blue and America will become a socialist state. The 2008 election will decide it all. I'm already pulling an Alec Baldwin and thinking about what country to move to. Problem is, as far as free societies with capitalist economies and individual rights, we're about it.

New Zealand may be the ticket. They're socialists, but they speak English and you can still own all the cool guns (alot of licenses, fees, paperwork and such)

I think when the Democrats take complete control of the gov't, we will see redistribution of wealth on a scale not imagined by most people. They'll not only try to equalize income, but they'll divide up property, real and personal. You think I'm crazy. Well, you're right, but just sit back and watch.

Well, kind of, kind of not. But 2008 will remove any murkiness about it. Remember there were several posters back in 2006 who said they were voting Democrat becaus they didn't like one party controlling both the legislature and the executive branches. I wonder how they'll vote next year?

It is amazing that so many people continue to dream for socialism when it is such a giant steam roller over human freedom. But as long as people can f*** whoever they want to, and get free healthcare, they don't care about their other rights. If Democrats win everything in 2008, and give illegals amnesty, this country is done. We're toast. Turn out the lights. The only thing that could possibly happen to save part of it is if like minded conservative and libertarian people moved to one region and seceded. Iraq is showing that libs can't stomach many casualties without wanting to retreat. We lost more men KIA in one day battles during the Civil War.

New Zealand has one of the more Neo-Liberal economies world wide.

They were one of the first countries to really dismantle the Keynesian Mixed Economies. There are much less socialist economically than we are.

There are certianly things which could happen to trigger one, not that I believe that they are very possible.

I'd hate to see how today's society would deal with another Great Depression.

And how gov't responded could create more problems.

Anarchy may be more likely.

Mexico / Central and South American countries are not a part of the Visa Waiver Program. Without a Visa, it's illegal for them to be in the US
