So, was there already a thread, warning all fans of the NFL of the havoc that is about to occur in Houston as the Kasey Studdard era begins...?

In addition to Studdard, the Texans picked up, as an undrafted free agent...

This is SERIOUSLY going to bolster their line as two Heisman-winning offensive linemen from the same school playing next to each other on the same offensive line is quite rare.

Let the Ron Dayne / Ahman Green / Wali Lundy / Samkon Gado / Chester Taylor era begin in Houston !!!!! :texan:

I still have that original thread saved on my computer at home. That is some of the funniest stuff I have EVAR seen online! Even some of the Texass fans eventually were giving it props. It's an all-time classic.

Ok...now it's a well known fact that I do indeed live under a rock.

So I've gotta ask:

What the hell was that original Kasey Studdard thread about? I know he shanked us for Texass in recruiting...but what caused it to evolve into THAT thread?

The smart-***-ness that is SF.com. And a cocky tejas fan trying to rub his signing in.

It was some of the finest wise*ssery that SF.com has had to offer... a veritable "perfect storm" of some of the best posters from the board; past, and present, and its deliciousness was coupled with the fact that we were bashing the pee out of Tejas at the time as well.

A lot of people found SF.com because somebody sent them a link to that thread...

That's all I can find. 3/4 of it don't seem to exist anymore.

Anyway - a Texas fan came on here with a thread titled "And the hits just keep coming for Texas" or something, bragging about how they got Kasey Studdard to commit.

Sooner04, in his most legendary moment, said something about how he didn't care if the guy was the best camel-jockey in Dubai. the thread went nuts from there.

Good lord, 04 was on a roll back then...

Throughout the sands of time, great defenses have always garnered great nicknames. Classics, such as the Fearsome Foursome, the Purple People Eaters, and the Killer B's come to mind. Here in Vandangabad, the front 4 defensive set of Jahunder High School has come to be known as the Thunder from Jahunder.
From left, the group of Serj Michalad, Yanseek Sharot, Bomteest Galadahad, and Zerafutias Yekteef have terrorized opposing offenses since '99.
This fall, 3 members of the Thunder will be taking their act to Vandangabad Tech, while Zerafutias Yekteef will defy his mother's wishes and enroll at the University of Texas.

Well, except you'd have to comb the desert to find 04, SteelPanz, mosoon, InTheRedZone, or The Voice of Reason anymore.

Isn't studdard the guy that tommie harris flipped over his back? That had to be one of the funniest things I had seen it perfectly describes the OU TEXAS rivalry.

The smart-***-ness that is SF.com. Man, those really were the "golden years." Now you have a bunch whiners who either weren't around for those days or didn't like it to begin with jacking every thread with any smirk of sarcasm or criticism of any team, including our own.

I think in hindsight we can all agree that it was George Bush's fault that we didn't land Studdard.

Kassy Studdard had an opportunity to give me a kidney once,
but he chose not to do so.

I accepted one from Paul "Bear" Bryant instead.
Sooner04 stole it from me.

Wait...scratch that last part....it still applies.
