I love to make a wish...

on anything and everything...

we make wishes on the first star in the sky, shooting stars, blowing out birthday candles, loose eyelashes, ladybugs we set free that fly away, I throw pennies in every fountain I see, and blowing the dandelions fuzzies away......

UNTIL...I spent an hour in my backyard yesterday pulling dandelions...some of them as high as my hip bone!! When I noticed them the first time, they were up to my knees but by the time I got my tools and gloves to pull them (they have "teeth" once they get that high) they had grown up to my hips!!

So now, I am not sure I will let my daughters blow the dandelion fuzzies away anymore to make wishes .... :(

at least not in my yard.... :D

oh...that is a really good idea, of course now that you have told your wish, it won't come true.

they had grown up to my hips!!

I have been called shorty from time to time...but these were still very very tall.

by any chance, are you really short?
I've only seen this once at this summer camp my sister went to just north of Edmond.

There was this dirty road going to the place and honest to God there were these MASSIVELY mutated dandelions on the side of the road. The damned things were at least 1/3 of my height. They were massive, no joke.
