Fears of a military coup, a collapsing stock market, and large protests. On the upside the protests are very much pro-secular. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

In this instance (for once) the military are the *good guysl*. Turks are protesting against a candidate, his wife wears the veil, who they view as too Muslim. The military is viewed as the protector of secular values.
