I've found the motherload for downloads.

You'll have to register on zoot radio, but it's free & I've never gotten any spam from them.

If you're new to the genre, I'd suggest some Gunsmoke, Great Gildersleeve, & Suspense, to get started.

It's really, really good stuff.

my grandparents use to have tapes of Fiber Magee (sp) and Molly and some old suspense/horror tapes. I loved it.

way back when. :D

When I'm out on the rig (most of the time these days) I'll download entire series. Right now I'm downloading the 1948 season of Let George Do It. I'd never heard of the show until I listened to an episode on XM today. It stars one of my favorite OTR actors, Bob Bailey.

I've downloaded over 4,000 episodes from various download sites so far.

Man in 28 or so when he did this can you Imagine the panic .
Radio was all they had , aeroplanes were NEW .
I find it funny as hell Now , back then Not so much ( Not that I was around back then ):D
