Big-12 signs new TV deal with ABC for football

Don't see anything earth shattering in this deal ... really a continuation of what we've already had. Nothing really on the Fox Sports side other than they still have the cable rights.

I'm glad this is signed. Kinda worried about the talk of the NFL network & Big 12 because I don't have it, my cable company doesn't have it now, and I'm not a big NFL fan anyway.

From what I can tell ... the NFL network stuff isn't dead. That is abvout saturday night games that was on TBS ... nothing to do with ABC. The TBS deal was with Fox Sports to outsource some Pac-10 and Big-12 games. Fox Sports still has cable rights to our league and this agreement with ABC does nothing to change that. Fox Sports, from what I can tell, can still distribute our games to another cable network.
