I do have it grounded with a copper rod connected to the front jacks and the back jacks are on the gravel. Surely the rig is enough of a lightning rod that my trailer and I am safe from God's anger. Right?

Bad news for a guy standing in a pool of urine.

Heh. You'd go from trailer trash to trailer toast in about 3/4 of a banana second.

Get out of there and go hide under a tree. Or light pole.

Actually, you are completely safe since you have rubber tires, unless lightening strikes while you're on the toidy. :)

I did buy a house. My cinder blocks are pained black though.
An airstream may be cool but my Coachman is big and roomy, much like Courtney Love's hoo-hoo.
Throw some tires on the top of it.
The trailer, not Courtney Love's hoo hoo.

the lightning strikes are close enough to trip the GFCI my satellite receiver is plugged into. This is the second time that's happened.
