Drink suggestions

I have vodka and rum...I am trying to decide what type of drinks I should attempt to make. I bought one of the little shaker/mixer things earlier today so I am experimenting on making different mixed drinks (more like finding more ways to get drunk)...Suggestions? Ideas? Recipes for drinks that aren't martinis would be great :D
