I love the part where they turn all the lights off to demonstrate saving power. Then they turn 'em on again seconds later.

My fav is teh big hollywood actor or politician being drove around in a stretched limo, or flying a lear jet, whilst claiming us little peons are destroying the earth when driving anything larger than a Dodge Neon.

I watched just a few minutes of the 20/20 show. When they showed an African Elephant throwing sand on its back and said that the drought is so bad the elephants are throwing sand on themselves, rather than water, to cool off they lost all credibility. Elephants will stand next to a pool of water and throw sand (dirt) on their backs to keep the flies and other bugs from biting. 20/20 is a bunch of kool-aid vendors.

I guess we went too far in the 70's when we were having to solve the global cooling issue. I remember at the time Ted Danson said by now we were supposed to be in another Ice Age. We just need to go back to the limits that were around in the 60'and 70's and sure enough it would get us going the other way. Logic at its best.


If that solution won't work, Then all these global warming alarmists are as full of ca ca as they were when screaming global cooling in the 70- 80's

I'd almost forgotten this gem:

They were interviewing a scientist at the south pole, and mentioning how the ice sheets in Antarctica were getting thicker. The visual to this voiceover? North pole icebergs melting.

Conservative media, indeed. :rolleyes:
