Well, those aren't the Problem Solvers so much as just the monkeys in the production room.

And big ups to Deana for chugging right along with reading that copy, oblivious to the chaos swirling around the building. :D

Her friend in control sounds like a great person to work with. Chicks with violent tempers are HAWT.

GRRRRR.

It sounds like she was knocking over filing cabinets in the background.

I remember when Beth Ringle dropped a GD on the news and got canned back in the 80's ;)

I beg to differ. I've been around a pretty good portion of the US and watched a lot of local news and I have to say that the Tulsa stations are among the slickest and most professional that I've seen and they have the awards to back that up.

I can't speak for Tulsa stations, but I imagine they're similar to OKC stations-- and you're absolutley right. The LA local news was a total freaking joke when I was out there. The complete lameness of a KC morning show comes to mind as well.

Local commercials, on the other hand....

Yes, the local commercials in Tulsa are bad but they look like Oscar winning productions compared to the ones in Waco.

Surely, this is a joke post.

Yes, because if anyone would be foolhardy enough to disagree with you, it could only be a wacky joke.

I'd love it if they fired her by saying, "Channel 2 works for you but you don't work for Channel 2!"

Wow, in what kind of job would it ever be acceptable to talk like that? I think about the only ones are drill instructor or coach of some type. My "grandma" filter (that is, that thing in your brain that automatically keeps you from cussing in front of your grandma) goes on whenever I'm at work, and I'm shocked whenever I hear co-workers or clients cuss.
