Did anyone catch the wind they were having there yesterday and today? Its crazy. Heres my question. Why did they stop play yesterday? Its windy like this in the UK and they deal with it.

I didn't watch yesterday, so I'm not sure.

Typically they will only stop play if there is lightning in the area, or it is raining so much they can't keep the water from puddling on the greens.

they stopped because gusts were blowing limbs out of trees and braining people. And the wind was forcing balls off the greens on 16 17 and 18. the ball wouldn't stop anywhere.

they don't have trees on the UK courses, so they don't have to stop. ;)
