A friend of mine sent this to me. Thought some of you might get a kick out of it.




This is why the internet is the greatest media created in history.

Take 60 seconds to do this, I guarantee you'll show someone else, it's too funny not to.

1. go to www.google.com (http://www.google.com)
2. click on "maps"
3. click on "get directions"
4. type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type "London" in the second box (the "to" box)

(hit directions)

6. scroll down to step #23

It won't give you directions from San Francisco to Tokyo... I guess it doesn't think swimming across the Pacific is as safe.

This is what mine said:

3,937 mi (about 29 days 10 hours)

It's right above where the directions start. The interesting thing is that when you reverse directions, it adds another mile.

But, see, this is why I don't trust those maps. You can cut a few days off your trip by swimming to Portugal or Spain and driving from there.

that an impressive if someone can swim the atlantic ocean in 29 days.....
thats 133.9 miles a day of swimming....swimming at 5.58 mhp. chuck norris could do it.
