It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Just my take.

I don't know why people always laughed at him when he did the things he did. Sure, "Let 'R Rip" was a classic, but things like saying to National Media... "we could have won by more with the way they were playing" was classless. And to add, he could have gotten OSU (the school and the people who don't deserve it) into a lot of trouble with the rumors of comped grades and all of the "good character" players being involed in assault and battery of an officer... that kinda stuff. NTM, he was considered a pompus jackass to his fans and it was all about the big win for him. Mack Brown, Pete Carrol, Charlie Weiss all may be National rivals of OU, but at least they are nice to their following. LSU fans seem to like him, though... so I guess that's fine. I wonder if he was just a jerkoff at OSU because he had no respect for the job and/or people of Oklahoma. Jimmy Johnson was that way when left left for Thug U. Most older OSU fans despise him that I've personally heard from.

As far as the problems he's facing right now... well, that may not be all Lester's fault. We know what it's like for kids to give the coach a bad name, here. It will be interesting to see how it's handled, then we can get a better view of Les Miles: The Character.

Les will shepherd the lost soles with the same delicate touch he's used throughout his career. He's a wonderful human and the people of Louisiana are lucky to have him representing their program.

This is either the funniest post you've made here, or the most stupid.

LSU fans just like him because he is as classless as they are. Like saying we ahve a new rival in f'in alabama in front of his own children. That won him some praise in Louisianna. guaranteed.

I sure hope the NCAA is taking a close look at this situation in Baton Rouge, the Compliance Department at the University for allowing this to happen, and the apparent lack of institutional control going on.

Oh, wait a minute, OU is not located in Baton Rouge. Nevermind.

If I didn't have my good pants on I'd beat the Hell out of some of the people on this board! (at least I would like to think I could) (it certainly feels safe here hiding behind my computer at home)
