I am no Notre Dame fan by any means, but that is pretty neat.

Here is a list of countries where schools have played in the past.

One of the most popular sites was Japan which featured the Coca-Cola Classic and Mirage Bowl. I believe Barry Sanders wasn't in NY for his Heisman win because he and Poke State was playing in Japan.

Right. Had 332 yards (4th 300-yard game of '88) against the Pirates that night in a 45-42 victory. The game used to be called the Mirage Bowl, apparently, and was played from 1977-1993. Coca-Cola was the name from '86 till the end. Oddly enough, they used to play a lot of conference games there.

It's not a lie. They don't recruit anyone that doesn't fit that mold. ;)

If I had to put a # to it, it'd go something like this...

There are approximately 38 white kids on the Notre Dame roster. Roughly 70% of white Americans claim some sort of Irish background... So, ballpark it at around 26 or so, of which probably only 9 worship the original way.

Dude, that is just wrong. Good for the Irish and good for the Midshipmen and good for Ireland. Can't be anything but good for American football.

Up the Republic.

Just my take.

Agreed. I don't like Notre Dame, and I ain't much of a Catholic, but c'mon. Try being a human being.
