thanks to the new bill extending troop stays, now instead of being at the end of his tour he is only in the middle. The frustration in his email is painful to read.

they were so close to leaving that they already had a bunch of their equipment boxed up and ready to be shipped.

on a positive note he says that it has been real quiet where he is at lately. And a rocket landed at the feet of one of his platoon sgts but thankfully was a dud.

so please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

I pray for all of the troops every day, including my son in law and nephew. One is in a frigate ship, hopefully somewhere other than in Iranian waters, and the other is laying communication cable.
