Doc gave my aunt 3-6 months today

She was diagnosed with colon cancer last summer and had surgery, but refused treatment. Today she had her gall bladder removed (due to stones) and the doc said it's back. It's in her colon, chest, liver, pretty much everywhere. We all knew it was coming, but it still sucks. :(

since i've been working in hospice, i get to go through this at least once a week (not with a loved one, granted, but someone who i've gotten to know and who is beyond medical treatment). it never gets any easier.

She had expressed concern that Falwell's death would trump her aunt's death.
i was trying to keep her aunt at the top of the posts.
