New true SOONER ARRIVES

Ryan James age three would like to announce that his baby brother Jason Charles arrived at 4:02 am Monday April 9th and weighed 6 pounds even and measures 19 inches.JC arrived SOONER than expected at 35 weeks and 3 days.A c-section was scheduled for April 30 but like Ryan JC decided SOONER IS BETTER.Mom and baby are A-OK. Pardon the typing errors due to adrenalin lack of leep etc.

Thank sto all. We were originally told that because of the early delivery date JC might have to go to Baptist or HIllcrest neonatal icu.Praise GOD,JC is perfect,drs. found no deficits.We are cleared for Mom and son to come home Wed am.Again thanks to all for prayers and best wishes.SOONER IS BETTER and SOONER FANS ARE BEST.

Funny story related to saying Boomer Sooner to the newest one-

My youngest son was born in West LA at Kaiser and I had him C-section. Well, we had planned to name him Austin, but I told my dad he wouldn't be a longhorn and that I would sing Boomer Sooner to him the first time I held him. Now, keep in mind, we are in West LA, they don't know football from a hole in the ground. So, here I am in recovery, just woke up and they hand him to me and I begin to sing Boomer Sooner to him. My family knew what was going on, but I think the nurses thought I was hallucinating. Because the next thing I know, that nurse gave me a shot of Demerol in my right thigh. She didn't even ask if I needed it, lol.
