King Crimson

the name of this band is pronounced: Lynard Skynard.

they do everything on that record, hard rock, delta blues, social comment, freebird.

I ain't the one has one of the best opening drum and riff and whistle you ever gonna hear.

it's a great hillbilly record. equal to anything else.

Personally, I'd say everything through Physical Graffiti.

But I like your Yes Album Pick.

And King Crimson, that was my zepplin spek, forgot to sign it.

Dean had a good list, too.

And they may be a bit too commercial for some, but I would put Styx Grand Illusion or Pieces of Eight on the list.

i was about to throw some who on the list, but ya beat me. hell i'd even go ahead and throw in some of the live stuff released recently. i think tommy live was better than studio imo. i know i'll get some heat for saying that though. and mad spek for the band. the last waltz has got to be my favorite dvd ever.

the two best doors records...the first and the last (?).... (with M Hotel almost there), and yeah, the muhfuggin Who.

ya know, a lot of people don't like Quad. i personally don't get this, but it doesn't really have a single outside Love Reign O'er Me or 5:15. maybe that's it. but, also what makes it great.

and def fazer is right insofar as the remastered Live at Leeds delux edition tears your ears off and makes you like it. with the somewhat faked up Tommy disc as well....but you don't care it sounds so good.

King Crimson

Crosby Stills Nash and Young - Deja Vu

that's a good one too. even CSN is a great record.

King Crimson

Steaming Pile of Crap – Steaming Pile of Crap

with a lot of bands, the first self titled albums are usually the best...

I could not agree more... that live album they did,(Steaming Pile of Crap: A Night At Frontier City), was good, but it wasn't GREAT!

King Crimson
4/6/2007, 04:21 AM
and even the best stuff on that Frontier City record are the one's from SPoC, SPoC.

no doubt about it.

Let's leave off "Presence", too.

And we can omit the Stones' Satanic Majesties Request (at the time, the highest pre-ordered album evar).
