My Little Joe story: Many years ago, Joe was back in Norman for an OU home game, and it was announced that he would be on the field after the game to sign autographs. I grabbed my program and went down and stood in line to meet him and get his autograph. When it came my turn, he greeted me with great friendliness. I mumbled a few words of thanks for all the great things he'd done for OU, both as a player and as an ambassador of the University. Instantly, he replied, "Oh no! It was MY pleasure and honor to play for and represent the University of Oklahoma!" What a great guy he is. Welcome back, Joe.
