Someone needs to make sure those Pac-10 schools win all their non-conference games. How else is Oregon going to make a BCS bowl?

He should be officiating the guard - prisoner game at McAlester for a couple of years! Okay - that was a small attempt at humor......very much like his promotion.

For 27 years he has served as coordinator of Football Officiating for a number of high school leagues in the East Bay area of San Francisco. Why doesn't this surprise me? The officiating was on the level of Jr or Sr High School football.

Dave Cutaia, the lead referee of the nine-man crew who officiated last year's Oklahoma / Oregon game, has been appointed Coordinator of Football Officiating for the Pac-10 Conference.

The new coordinator has been a Pac-10 official for 24 years, including the last six as a referee. He also has officiated basketball and baseball on the college and high school levels. For 27 years he has served as coordinator of Football Officiating for a number of high school leagues in the East Bay area of San Francisco.

I swear common sense has gone the way of the dodo bird.

And THAT makes perfect sense.........in a "Pac 10" kind of way. If we can't win them outright, we will steal them, and thereby, insuring the competitiveness of Pac 10 teams with the rest of the country.

Just my take.

I'd be a lot more concerned about this if we were, you know, actually IN the Pacific 10 Conference. ;)
