one of the little bastards found its way into my bedroom. I've chased it around with a flyswat twice now and it keeps hiding. it's really starting to **** me off.

I'm probably going to have to go to sleep with that damned thing lurking around here somewhere.

Name it and love it. That's all it wants.

or kill it.

A mayfly? One of whatever they're called got into my brother's ear when he was about 14. He was playing in a baseball game and it landed on or near his ear and when he went to shoo it away it went into his ear. About an inning or two later it had got into his middle ear and his balance was so bad he couldn't walk. Dad took him to the ER where they flushed it out.

i had to turn off the light in my room and turn on the lights in the living room to lure it out so i could thwack it.

Crane flies are completely harmless.

I hate the giant-mosquito-resembling bastards too.

Flyswat?i chased the bugger around the room 3 times. bastard kept disappearing before i could swat him. it wouldn't land anywhere. it'd hover in the air and then drop and disappear near the floor.

No idiot, the flyswat is the tool, and the flyswatter is the person using the flyswat.:D

Nope, not unless he had a hole in the eardrum before the bug got in there. The moment of the bug against the eardrum may have made him dizzy, but he should have been able to walk.

PG, my cat Xoey loves bugs. She would have either caught it and killed it for you or have chased it to you for the kill. She wants to come visit the bug house, we don't have any here.

Yep. He had to leave the game. But you knew that because you were there.

Whether or not it was his middle ear, I don't know but he couldn't walk a straight line to save his life.

YOU can't walk a straight line to save your life. Y'all got bugs in your ear?

ask Baja, she's the bug in a oriface expert. ;)

I always forget that anything someone says must include every bit of detailed information because if you leave something out or something isn't 100% scientifically correct, someone will bust your balls about it.

I don't think the number is 100%, you dumb bastard. 98 or 99% maybe, but it isn't 100%.
