Travel Insurance

It looks like I'm going to Australia in October, and my airfare will be non-refundable. Can I get travel insurance that would cover the cost of the airfare if I can't go for some reason?

Well, travel insurance really only covers things in certain situations I think.

I think that AMEX has some special insurance you can get though.
