The place I work, I'm back to working in Houston by the way, is looking into buying some tools for doing SQL queries. They have asked me for some recomendations. The only ones I'm familiar with are Queryman, aka QMF, and TOAD. Anyone have any experience with any other tools?

TIA!

I use Embarcadero's Rapid SQL.

I like it.

Oh sure, I ask for some simple Access advice and everybody runs for the hills.

I got y'alls query tool right here.

Wait a minute....

TOAD is an excellent tool for developers and dba's. I would say it is overkill as a query tool.

Yea, it is a good tool and it is exactly the type thing we are looking for. Oh and I mentioned it in my first post! :D

I mentioned it because it was mentioned in your original post. My point was that TOAD is overkill for a query tool.
If it's exactly what you are looking for, you're looking for a lot more than a query tool.

I just downloaded SQL Server Management Studio Express from MSDN last week. It pretty much looks like a combo version of Query Analyzer and Enterprise Manager.
