You so going to thank me for this....

There is nothing I've found that works like this stuff.

It puts a barrier over the area and it even help when your clothes rub the area.

Benadryl's best product ever IMO...

If you will use this along with the cream it works really well.

You could also try some straight vinegar or make a milk and baking soda paste. A paste made from meat tenderizer and a dab of water sometimes works too.

Vinegar works. It also works if you've been stung by a jellyfish. The acid neutralizes the stuff that makes you itch and/or writhe in pain.

Scott D
3/29/2007, 09:18 PM
not scratching neutralizes it too ;)

I'm allergic to the allergy medicine.

But if it's the only thing you're allergic to then why would you need it? ;)

This pollen is killer though. We haven't had rain in like 3 weeks and my red truck is now completely yellow.

went to the pharmacy to pick up the spray, talked to the pharmacist and he said if the benedryl cream didn't work, the spray wouldn't either. he told me to get something with hydrocortizone in it, picked up a cream, and it seemed to help a little. still not 'itch free' by any means though.

this is irony from a guy who lets one single female he hasn't slept with or is related to keep his testicles in a jar on her mantle.

But I have slept with her. I think that's the root of the problem actually.

Daug, the best thing I've found to put on 'skeeter and chigger bites to ameliorate the itching is Rhuli Gel, a clear, alcohol-based gel that comes in a tube. Rhuli Gel was purchased by Band-Aid, I believe, so you might find it under the Band-Aid brand now. Good stuff, I tell ya'!

ACtually, it's more likely I was asleep than her.
