Pearl Snaps

I have more shirts that fasten via pearl snap than buttons. I wear them frequently. I was even cool for a brief period in 2003ish because my wearing of pearl snaps and seed caps became mainstream. Honestly I don't know why people even bother with buttons due to the vast superiority of pearl snaps. Anybody else with me?

I'm afraid you're wrong there. Patton's pistolas were ivory handled Colt SA "Peacemakers." I think he once said something to the effect only a pimp would carry pearl-handled wheel guns.

Has anyone ever noticed that the material on the shoulder part and upper back of most of those pearl buttoned shirts is doubled and that the material on the remaining portion of the shirt gets rather thin and sometimes quite transparent after some wear?

i like pearls snap shirts in the summer, because of the afore mentioned thinness of most of the shirt. keeps ya cool in the heat. and who doesn't want to be like their grandpa?
