what? you have cockroaches?

but does that work?

mdklatt
3/27/2007, 03:49 PM
what? you have cockroaches?

In Thailand they're probably big enough for small children to ride.

VeeJay
3/27/2007, 04:11 PM
Why do cockroaches flip over on their back when they're croaking?

Is that some innate death twirl triple axel maneuver they pull for dramatic effect?

Chuck Bao
3/27/2007, 04:27 PM
Yeah, that works. They're thrashing their little legs around until they fall off. They be thrashing their long antennae around until they fall off. Then their exoskeleton starts to melt, like someone smearing paint.

And, mdklatt is right about the size. So, that makes it more fun.

Before TopDaug gets me for a thread jack, I have to say that if you aren't planning on doing dishes for a while, spray dishwashing detergent on every plate, glass and bowl. That'd keep them from eating out of your sink and then breeding.

She went to 4 years of college to be able to work somewhere to drive a forklift?
Why would she be getting trained on driving a forklift?

She's gotta be acting to come off as ignorant as she seems. She's probably trying the sexy dumb girl routine.

have you ever driven a fork lift?

they're fun to drive. I drove a 50 ton forklift 1 time, that was a big bastard. My next goal though, is to find a way to operate the 800 ton gantry, or the 3800 ton sea/barge crane (but I doubt it's gonna happen)

all I can say is that any guy on here, who doesn't occassionally get the twinge to drive a fork lift, or use some sort of heavy equipment, heavy duty power tool just needs to turn in their man card

not with this company. it's all about that engineering degree, cause they turn around and bill at that rate. Of course none of this was a problem when I was a contractor for the first 6 months, it all came out when I came on perm. Needless to say I've been interviewing again.

It is a contractual thing. The position descriptions require an engineer to have an engineering degree. So they were told what the qualifications were for the positions.
