Heh, that's a funny story actually.

About 4 months ago or so I decided that I didn't have diabetes anymore so I just quit taking my medicine (I think it was diabeta) or testing my blood sugar. I've felt fine since then and haven't had a return of any of the symptoms. Now, of course my dad would strangle me if he knew this but I'm confident that I got rid of the diabetes.

Check your sugars, SicEm. Unless you lost a lot of weight, or drastically changed your diet and exercise, diabetes doesn't tend to disappear.

Well, I've never weighed a lot. I've always been really skinny. I'm about 115 now, but the difference between now and when I didn't have diabetes is exercise I think. I don't do it now whereas I used to swim at least a mile a day for about 10 years.

I've thought about swimming again, but I haven't had any motivation to do so.

our open campus started with the fourth graders, with parent's permission of course.Open campus in 4th grade? WTF? You should have gone to Whitesboro's cafeteria for lunch. My uncle used to work for the county and he said they had the best food. A lot of that is because the manager used recipes my mom gave her.

Oh and I had a spinach and salmon salad from VZD's today.

yup, we could walk to the diary bar (burgers and such), sonic, or B's pizza. those were the three choices in spiro, and all within walking distance. but you had to cross the street to get to B's, that required a 2nd parental signed form.

We didn't have an open campus even in HS. I can't imagine having an open campus in 4th grade.

TopDaugIn2000

they eventually closed it, starting with the 4th & 5th graders, then middle schoolers, then finally high schoolers. too many problems with fights and such off campus.
