We will be retiring Acie's number soon. It's hard to believe that three (or was it four?) years ago, I was in line with about 30 other fans after the game in a near-empty Reed Arena. It was a meet and greet with the players, and there was nobody around. I told Acie that I enjoyed his style of play and how he was going to live up to the number on his jersey--number one at the time.

Now, such an event would cause a near-riot in College Station.

A testament to the power of winning...
