Mix Tape: revisited

The first mixtape format was hard and time consuming. A lot of the e-mail servers would bounce my e-mails because of the file or the person wouldn't get back to me quickly (and a lot of times I wouldn't know which).

I'm thinking a better way to do it might be to pick a theme and then have everyone submit their MP3 to me at once. What does everyone think? What theme would be good for the first mix?

i'm thinking if people can't receive that large of a file in an email, they won't be able to send it either.

How about this. We give you the title and artist of the song we want and then you download the song yourself.

I don't know, I guess we'd have to trust the people to sign up are able to send, or we could just let everyone send them and then we'd hopefully have enough to cover a full CD.

Did mine go through?
If so, I used my GMAIL account and if that worked then I could send a gmail invite to anyone it didn't work for; let them sign up for gmail for the purposes of this, and send their song that way.
