Does anyone know how to convert a Powerpoint presentation for view on a computer without Powerpoint?

I think there's a free power point viewer that you can download from the microsoft website.

Are you saying you don't have powerpoint on the machine you're trying to download the brief to? If so, I'm afraid you're hosed my Sooner sistuh.

Now, you can surely get a bootleg copy of Powerpoint somewhere I should think. Load it, and you'll be all set.

You don't need the entire power point program to just view the slideshow. Just download the viewer.

Or you can do a "Save As..." and save the file as a web page or jpg or gif or other readable format.

Thanks. I had hoped I could convert it to Flash or MovieMaker, but you have to have spayshul software.

My viewer that solves the problem nicely sure isn't getting much respect. RESPECT THE VIEWER!

I don't quite remember, but saved as a web page, the music might come across as active content. Otherwise, send the recipient the PowerPoint viewer that SicEm referred to. I was just looking for a way to get the file read without having to add an app to the recipient's machine.

Or just forget the music, dammit. It's the content that counts.

I'll try SicEm's idea and Yermom's. It's a memorial for my uncle. I kind of wanted to convert it so it could be viewed on a tv.
