We never watched this when it originally aired but we have started watching it on A&E. Having never seen the HBO version, I don't mind the made-for-TV changes so much.

Since I can't read the real Sopranos threads, I figured I'd start this one. :D

Anybody else watching this on A&E? I think it's about midway through Season 2 right now. Christopher just got shot in the last episode.

Almost to the end of season two. I gotta say... you don't want to mess with the women! They're not wimpy whiners. They don't take any crap.

Season two finale coming up. Judging from the previews, looks like it's going to be interesting.

I put Season Three in my queue at Blockbuster. I'm going to watch the unedited versions with all the blood & guts and foul language. I'm pretty sure they're not saying "bloodsucker" all the time. ;)

The Tulsa World's Jay Cronley mentions this in an article from Monday. he spoke about how strong the women are in The Sporanos. he said they're not horny cheeseballs like the chicks in the hospital shows.

the old Sopranos on A&E (even with the editing) are more entertaining than the last 2 or 3 seasons have been .

I forgot how great that show used to be.

That doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement of the next few seasons.

I'm not watching them on A&E either....that's where we first started watching and got hooked. We've had the DVDs since about Season 2 I think.

It's a little disappointing to know the finale is going to suck. I don't know exactly what happens, but comments about it were hard to avoid. It's still an excellent series though.

I mean come on, you had to know that there was going be something left on the table...for a movie maybe ?

i'm not so sure about the ending leaving an opening for a movie in that way, i was thinking i heard something more about a prequel kinda thing

i've warmed on the ending, btw
