I read a while back that a special college/pro league was being formed for the spring time? I can not remember just how it worked...something about every player in the league had to have graduated or something like that???
What if they started a college arena league and the teams would be made up of non-football players from the school. The only football players who would be eligible would be the scout teams. This would make them that much stronger and would still participate in spring and fall workouts. Some of the football players who need to workout could scout for the Arena team in the spring and then the Arena team can scout for the Football team in the fall! It would be a never ending cycle of football GLORY!!!!
There would have to be a rule the each school would have to include non football players though.
It would give us fans something to watch in the spring and help the big boys in the fall!
