It's been awhile

Hey all! Yes, Norm and I are still alive. I thought I'd give you an update. I am now 7 months along...getting bigger. :( We did find out that we are having a boy. "The boy" is so excited to be having a brother. We are in the process of getting a 3d ultrasound done. We will go tomorrow to finish it. I'm sure Norm will post some of the pictures we have gotten. This is the coolest thing. You can actually see the baby's face! I'm feeling okay. I've had some pain but it's not too bad. We are still looking at June 4 for the due date. Not too much longer. Then, Norm and I will be in another world, so to speak. Hope everybody is doing well.

That was the LONGEST first trimester EVAR! My doctor, bless her soul, did give me anti-nausea medication, though. It helped during the last couple of weeks of my first trimester. After that, I felt "normal" again. However, I lost a BUNCH of weight. I've only gained 8 lbs. total so far....my dr. isn't too thrilled, but I think it's great! The baby is getting bigger, so that is the most important.

I've been debating whether to take 3-4 weeks off before school ends. I am trying to make it as long as I can, but with the 6th grade group I have this year, I just might take it after testing is finished.

Oh, and that is baby fat. The average weight around this time is about 2.2 lbs. He's 3.5.

Install the xvid codec (http://www.koepi.org/XviD-1.1.2-01112006.exe) (that's the official build) and it should work in windows media player. Or you can install VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html), which will play pretty much anything.

Tell your friend to check out Baby Faces in Norman. This is a clip from our session there. I can post one of the "4d" clips tonight. It's pretty dern cool. Also I hear Moore Norman Votech does something similar for like $5, but I hear it's almost impossible to get an appointment. I recommend getting the 4d ultrasound though. It was quite enjoyable.

My second child (daughter) was at eight pounds a month before she was due, and ended up two weeks early and nine pounds even. She was a chunk!:D
