Yeah Jaux I'm taking the picture of me with Kenny, Circa 1981, for him to autograph. I'm also hoping for a tambourine and a picture with the new and not-so-improved Kenny with a facelift.

I doubt he plays "The Gambler". They certainly don't wanna be giving the clientèle any good gamblin' advice...

I would buy plenty of those airline sized bottles just to be safe. They have a "bartender" in the back of the room selling **soft drinks**.

Oh, and 2nd row seats, better hope noone rushes the stage like they did at Hootie. There was quite a fuss after that show from the front row people who were blocked out by the youngsters.

The Hootie show was great. Apparently, the people on the front rows were pi$$ed that their view was obstructed when Hootie invited everyone to stand and rush the stage b/c it was a "rock and roll show". It was a great time (if you BYOB) for all except the senior citizens in the front.

The show was great. Before it started I asked one of the security peeps to take my picture back to be signed. He said he couldn't, but to give it to one of the fans who were going to the meet & greet. Well, I gave it to this girl and she said she would take it but they weren't letting them get autographs signed. When she came back she said they told them to put away their sharpies. :(

About the show, I'm trying to remember what he opened up with, but among the set list:

Ruby
The Coward of the County (I don't know why they skip the "they took turns at Becky" verse)
Lady
The Gambler (along with a montage of the movies)
They also played part of Coolio's Gambler video and Kenny rapped during his parts
Lucille
The Greatest
The Past 10 Years (some new song that's really good)
Some song with Tim McGraw where they had a cutout of Tim on stage.
Through the Years

He closed with Islands in the Stream, sans Dolly.

I know there are a few others mixed in there.

He did about a 1.5 hour show. At first I thought that was short, but then I remembered that back in the day, artists would have an opening act, so it wasn't really any less singing time then when concerts lasted 2.5 or 3 hours.

It doesn't surprise me, my cousins group opened up for him once at the Myriad, he was pretty much an arrogant *** to everyone around him. He was/is pretty much a "diva" in every sense of the word.
