Spring Game Tailgate CANCELLED

There's gonna be one. It's gonna be at the regular spot. It's gonna start at about 11 a.m. or so. There will be food, probably burgers and stuff. All the usual stuff applies, 'cept there won't be any other games on the tube.

Well, Dean's stuck in Baltimore and won't be back in time to get the RV to the tailgate. Not to worry - Leslie and I will go out and retrieve the necessary gear and we'll just do it up old school without the RV.

Well, maybe not. Weather is looking coooold, and not many people show up for the spring tailgate when the weather isn't nice. I'm not sure it's gonna be worth all the work to set it up. I'm gonna have to make a call on this by about 3:30 this afternoon. I'll post the decision.

With the absence of Deano and the RV due to the machinations of the US Postal Service, the forecast of cold weather, and the logistical issues with driving all the way out to Lexington and offloading all of the necessary equipment from the RV, then hauling it, setting it up, tearing it down and hauling it back to Lexington, it's just going to be too much. Attendance is going to be minimized by the weather and the fact that the game is on TV. As such, with regret, we are cancelling the spring game tailgate. We'll see everyone for the opener in September, though, as usual.
