From work, they send them over, then I have to figure out how to use them so I can show my boss. Up next, the 2 sat phones they sent over. I just have to program them so that we can test them.

I used to look at toys from China to determine if they should be sold in the United States. One of our attorneys had a plastic thingie that was supposed to represent the size of a child's throat passage. If the toys had removable or breakable parts ("choking hazards") that wouldn't easily slide down that throat passage representing plastic thingie, we'd trash them and politely tell our Asian counterparts to go to hell.

I went four years of college for that job.

heh, I have vonage at my apartment and we have it at work. Calling the US is not an issue. The sat phones are part of our emergency preparedness measures.
