I'm not sad they lost or anything, and I like to rag on the aggies as much as anybody, but the job Budke did in Stoolwater this year was pretty impressive.

This just in...Marist beats OSU again! (http://www.poughkeepsiejournal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070318/SPORTS0402/70318003)

we met marist women's basketball fans back in tempe, ariz. a few years ago for the ncaa tourney when they played ou in the first round (yet another year ended by stahnferd).

they said they and their coach were big fans ou of and sherri coale, because he had the same background as her and she turned the program around quickly.

so marist fans are awesome... and thank you again for making our rival look like the crappy team they are. perhaps those cowboy brats could use dan hawkin's "this is the big 12!" speech next time they would rather be on spring break than out playing in the post season.

For my 2000th post, allow me to ask the following question:

Is there ever a good time to be an Aggie?

Didn't think so!

i have 87 posts til my 4,000th. for my 3,913th post, let me assure you there is no good time to be an aggie... unless you are a texas a&m aggie, in which case it appears to be a good time to be one. they beat texas (morans celebrated 12-7 day, including the pearl harbor joke because it was pearl harbor day, heh) at austin, they have both teams in the tourney and their women won a SHARE (yea, ou!) of the regular season title.

so, not a bad time to be an a&m aggie. a better time to be a sooner, however :D
