What formation is about 18,000 feet deep in Caddo county?

Is it the Caney or Woodford or am I wrong on both guesses? Is the Caney as prolific as a gas producer as the Woodford is? In a typical vertical well in Caddo going 18,000 feet, what formations will produce hydrocarbons?

If memory servies me correctly Caddo Co. sits on top of the Anadarko basin. Hence the depth of the Caney or Woodford sitting at around 18,000 ft. I believe one of them is a shale. Woodford I think. I think its a producer kinda like the Barnett. I'm not at work right now or I could help you more. Cool to think that it is at that depth there but outcrops in the Arbuckles along I-35. Geology rocks. Get it? GET IT?? :rolleyes: :cool:
Now I'm wondering about that and wont be able to sleep til I figure it out. Thanks a lot. ;)

Actually, I still have no idea. I see that someone has completed a Woodford well in Grady county but there are a few Caney's in Stephens county.

Hey, there are several dots in Marshall County.

If you guys want to, put some more dots in there, but a little closer to the Carter County line.
