And I must say she loaded up some decent stuff. We heard, to name just the ones I can recall at this time of night:
Beatles (Rubber Soul & White Album, mainly)
Built to Spill
Flaming Lips
Franz Ferdinand
Jimi Hendrix (YES! Bless her heart; she's a budding guitarist.)
Rolling Stones (mostly early stuff)
Shins
Strokes
Violent Femmes

Not a bad drive from NOLA to Memphis

When I'd take road trips with my dad through the south at 15 we'd listen to nothing but Johnny and Bobby Horton cds....now THAT is music. ;)

Well, as long as it's not Rodney Carrington I guess there is still hope. You better have your bro set her down and talk to her about the evils of rock n roll.

Our young niece, A, was shocked, SHOCKED! that my girls are allowed to listen to the Rolling Stones.

I'm surprised they even talk to you! :D

"A" found K's myspace page, and let's just say......very bad reactions were a result of this. It was DRAMA!!!!!!! The Hooters shirt didn't help.

You know what I do in those situations?

I stay out of it.

I don't wear the pants around here. That is for the Persian Princess.
