I have really been impressed with the high level of patritotism and regard for the military that is exhibited by Native Americans here in Oklahoma and around the country. In fact, I really think Native Americans are one of the most patriotic ethnic groups in the country....contrary to the conventional wisdom portrayed in the media and entertainment industry.

I thought Windtalkers was sort of weak. I don't know if it was the script or the direction, but I was disappointed. I couldn't put my finger on it.

That's the thing, it was a great idea for a movie, but they totally ****ed it up. I remember being very excited to see it then being sorely disappointed. All it turned out to be was a Nicolas Cage vehicle, that's it.

And like somebody else mentioned, the cartoonish combat scenes made it even worse.

Well, us Irishmen may not be the most patriotic but we are the best drinkers:

A Texan walks into a pub in Ireland and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of Guinness back-to-back."

The room is quiet, and no one takes up the Texan's offer. One man even leaves.
