I saw the thread that was forever old about the greatest living american actor so I figured why not start a thread about your least favorite actor.

Mine without a doubt is Bill Paxton, I hate the guy for some reason.

There isn't really any criteria other than you just don't like the actor/actress or they recieve a lot of hype which is undeserved. Any by using that criteria I would go with Keanu Reeves.

Jack Black? he may be band nerdy annoying but he IS funny.

Nicholas Cage is spacey, weird and has a bad resodded hair line but he's a good actor. Just doesn't pick very good movies to work in.

But seriously, JK, the difference between a scooter and a moped is about as much the difference between a scooter and a Harley. Mopeds are modified bicycles (complete with pedals) that are generally around 50cc. Scooters are different from both mopeds and motorcycles in that the engine is rear-wheel mounted (no chain) rather than frame-mounted, and it has a step-through frame.

The scoots in those race pictures were probably running 75-100 MPH. Mine tops out around 65 around here, 70+ at higher altitude. I've had it around 80 MPH on downhills around Vegas. One of my friends has a Vespa P200e (200cc) that runs 95+ and can wheelie in all four gears.

I just like the scoots because they're really practical, and there's a great group of people that ride them. I've been to rallies all over the country. I've got two scoots, one's a continuation of the old Vespa line, imported by a company called Genuine Scooter. They stopped importing them last year. I also have a project scooter, a 1959/60 Allstate (made by Vespa in Italy).

I live downtown and work downtown, and I can park it out of the way on a sidewalk. A big bike would be a bit of a hassle, really, for my commute. That said, I've been wanting to get a motorcycle for longer trips. I've been looking at BMWs and Triumphs.

I've ridden the scoot on 100+ mile rides, but it's not the most comfortable thing in the world for that. Also, you don't want to get it on the interstate, unless it's Sunday morning. That said, it's no problem to ride it 60+ MPH, even two up.

It's also funny how bikers react to packs of scoots when we pull up to a bar catering to them. A few of them laugh or act disgusted, but most of them come over and love all over the scooters, ask questions and such. Scooters are pretty good conversation starters.

Most guys on Harleys will also give you the little handlebar wave when you pass each other on the street; anyhing on two wheels is good with them, and you both know the other guy's having fun. A lot of the tools who are weekend warriors act too cool, especially the guys on Harley knockoffs.

It's the rice rocket guys who are the *******s.

Tupperware is what hardcore classic, metal-body scooter riders call modern, plastic-bodied scooters. Twist 'n' go refers to automatic transmissions rather than a clutch and gearshift. I really don't care, I just want to find some way to distance myself from you.

I'm getting the scooter that I've been wanting for awhile this weekend to take back to Waco with me. Pictures to follow, but I think women find them cute. I'm thinking they if they want to ride the scooter they may also want to ride me.

i also hate Michael Bolton on Sex and the City. starring as Carrie the Sarah Jessica the 3 foot tall chick who takes it in the hookey from Matthew Broderick, who also sucks out loud.

Mrs. Dio dragged me to see Pure Country once, and I have to say that Leslie Ann Warren made George Straight look like friggin Dustin Hoffman. Now back to your scooter talk, ya bikerfox wannabes.

Okay, I've had a re-think about the whole scooter issue. The pics helped, BigRed. I concede that tooling around in a Vespa would be cool at a seaside resort or in Italy or OKC (if you can beat the traffic and parking).

But if anyone here is ready to try some wheelies on a scooter, be sure to record it on video and post it. I'm sure it is done and you'd be better than me if you did one. The last time I tried a wheelie, which was in high school and wasn't on a scooter, I crashed big time.

And Sic'em, if you do buy a scooter, please don't feel the need to cross your legs while you drive the thing. That's what the co-eds did at Baylor when I was there. I could be wrong, but to me that's probably a more challenging feat than the wheelie. Those were real women back then! Heh!

Oh, my least favorite actor is Jerry Seinfeld. For the life of me, I can't figure out why anyone ever thought he was funny.

I've wheelied my scooter on accident quite a few times by dumping the clutch when I'm in a hurry. It's not fun when it's on accident. They're pretty quick, believe it or not. Doing a wheelie on a twist 'n' go would probably be pretty difficult.

I'm not kidding about my buddy's P200. All four gears. That bike is faster than a lot of motorcycles, and has a ridiculous power-to-weight ratio. He used to race motorcycles professionally, and can do some crazy ****. He won't let ANYBODY else ride it because of the power. He's let me ride any and all of his other bikes, including some valuable rare bikes, but not that one, and he knows I'm a really solid rider. I don't have any illusions about getting on that one.

Regarding the quickness, I get away from stoplights far in front of most cars when I'm in heavy traffic. Obviously, if someone even in a moderately powered car wanted to beat me off the line, they could do it by really putting their foot in it. But with normal acceleration on their part (which is still jackrabbit for a lot of people these days), I leave everybody behind pretty quickly.

That's smart. In Bangkok, the key to staying alive for everyone on bikes is to move faster than the cars around them, especially those big ****ing environment wreckers.

You know, this is the equivalent of having a buddy who has a collection of, oh I don't know, say Ford Pintos. Most have the 4-banger, but he's got this supa hott one with a V-6. Scaaaaary, yah.

You're killin' me Jed.

I raced motocross and TT in the open class. Back in the day it was Husquavarnas and Bultacos - and finally a Suzuki TM400 for MX, and single-lunger Triumphs for TT. The first Suzuki I owned (1972) was so ill-tempered that you could flip it over backwards accelerating in 3rd gear. It would bog down a little, then hit the powerband and the front end would launch while the *** end was sliding all over hell. Very few people could handle it on a track with other bikes around.

While I have no doubt you dig your scooters, and your friends little 200cc jet bike is really, really fast, it's still just 200 ccs. There's only so much power you can get outta one. I remember when the Honda CR250s came out. Everybody said "ooh, scary power." Yes, they were fast (and the 250 class was always quicker around the track because you could utilize the horsepower better due to better handling), but after you come off the open class all the smaller bikes were pretty much meh.

And I still need to see a 4th gear wheelie on a 200 cc scooter to buy that one.

They probably should come with a wheelie bar, for safety sake.

Thank you. NOT a scooter. well, I've seen it wheelie in three. I have no doubt about fourth. The thing does 90+.And this guy doesn't just have ''Ford Pintos,'' he has three BMW motorcycles, one an old R65 classic, a badass luxury touring bike and an enduro. He prefers the scoots, Seriously, for non-highway around town riding, there's nothing I've ridden that's more fun.
