I caught one of those suckers fishing in the Gulf once. It was the meanest looking thing I think I have ever seen. 6-8ft long and half of that was teeth. We didn't keep it.

You didn't feed it any hot dogs?

if i was ever inclined to feed an eel by hand, i don't think i would be using a food product that looks suspiciously like a finger...

just saying

dude, that thing was getting erratic and weird way before it took his thumb, he should have known something was up. they were still just playing along with the thing

the finger-toe graft/transplant thing at the end is just creepy

I wonder if his hand gets all stinky like feet?

BigRedJed
3/15/2007, 02:55 PM
Does he have to use a toenail clipper on his thumb now?

If you have to use 2 different clippers for you hands and feet, then you have problems.

i smell Fritos?

BigRedJed

I'll postulate that if you have an eel bite off your thumb and have to have a toe transplanted onto your hand, then you have problems.

Doc, I got a nasty case of Athlete's hand.

He'll never, ever find a pair of gloves that fit.

BigRedJed
3/15/2007, 03:16 PM
And wouldn't he have to get them to make the thumb of his glove out of sock material?

If he had been offed, he would have been a Darwin award finalist.

That guy is lucky as heck.

If that graft hadn't taken then the eel would have essentially gotten both a thumb and a toe.

Nice job on the graft...I don't think I would have gotten it done in Bangkok however.

'...excuse me, waiter?...I think your thumb is in my soup...'

BigRedJed

I wonder if the eel had gotten his johnson if they still would have used a toe for the graft?

BigRedJed
3/15/2007, 03:21 PM
'Cause the girls would have loved it.

no way in HELL i'd ever get a creepy ET toe-thumb graft. no ****ing way. That's a whole lot grosser than the eel biting the thumb off. I'd just live with a stump for the rest of my life.

Hatfield

yes the lesson is that as long as you can drink beer and play video games "it is all good" :)

yeah, i'd rather have a thumb, although getting the toe removed looks like it would be rather painful

on Seinfeld didn't Jerry think the "tractor story" was about his gf getting her thumbs replaced by toes?

rufnek05
3/15/2007, 10:58 PM
video games and beer w/ toe-thumb vs. no thumb, no video games but still beer.

i think i would have a gross toe-thumb so i could drink and play video games. and still play guitar
