my Dad was just showing his obit from the Tulsa World to me and a high school buddy here at work. my bud was an airborne ranger back in the day.

anyway, that Walkabout was a stud.

I've never heard of him either, probably due to the color of his skin and the war he fought in.

Many true heroes go unnoticed. It is good to see that this one got his due respect both during and after his life.

As a vet and as an American I salute the brave fighting spirit that was Billy Walkabout.
