my Dad was just showing his obit from the Tulsa World to me and a high school buddy here at work. my bud was an airborne ranger back in the day.

anyway, that Walkabout was a stud.

I've never heard of him either, probably due to the color of his skin and the war he fought in.

I never heard of him, which doesn't mean much, he sounds like a stud.HEH...they tend to teach us about Marine Heroes only...but this dude was a hero too.

Many true heroes go unnoticed. It is good to see that this one got his due respect both during and after his life.

As a vet and as an American I salute the brave fighting spirit that was Billy Walkabout.
