Salty Dog

This grapefruit and gin cocktail is a slight variation of the Greyhound and an ideal choice for a summertime brunch. White grapefruit juice can also be used and adds a sweeter flare.

INGREDIENTS:

* 2 oz gin
* 4 oz grapefruit juice
* salt for rimming
* lemon or lime wedge for garnish

PREPARATION:

1. Pour the ingredients into a collins glass rimmed with salt and filled with ice cubes.
2. Stir well.
3. Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge.

Greyhound

This grapefruit and vodka cocktail is an ideal choice for a summertime brunch. White grapefruit juice can also be used and gin can replace the vodka in a salt-rimmed glass for a Salty Dog.

I had a srawberry magarita at a friends house this weekend......drinking that made me kinda want to polish my toenails red. Course it wasn't quite as bad as drinking an apple martini in Vegas and pulling someones underwear over my head like some friends do.:D
